The White Woman was a Slavemaster Too

Ramadan Mubarak

During the campaign for the White House, the media bombarded us with images of Hillary Clinton. I have seen Black men and women brought to tears during speeches by by Senator Clinton. After Hillary spoke at the Democratic convention, a Black woman shown on MSNBC was still irate that Hillary had not been chosen. Prominent Black men such as Andrew Young, Bob Johnson and Representative Charles Rangel were chauffeurs for the Clinton stagecoach to the White House. Black women who I had admired such as Iyanla Vanzant, Maya Angelou and Congresswoman Maxine Waters all endorsed Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama.

Tonight I watched and listened closely to Governor Palin try to put Barack Obama on blast by criticizing his experience and touting her experience. She has been the chief executive of a state. A small state, but I will give her that. However, she does not have any experience dealing with the type of diversity that exists in the United States. If you looked around the audience of the Republican convention you can see that diversity is not something they care about at all. The racist White woman has proven throughout her time in the U.S. that she can be heartless as the racist White man. There are vivid memories of my childhood experience of viewing pictures of Black men being hung with smiling White women standing around with their smiling White men. All of those Black people who feel they have made it so easily forget that the White woman was a partner in ownership of the Black man and Black woman. Those White women who did not have an appetite for slavery still did not want to see or hear a nigger do anything except dance or sing.

Jim Crow and the harsh treatment of Blacks were in some ways the result of the White man trying to protect the virtue of his woman. A Black man could get hung or shot for even looking at at White woman. So it is no surprise that Sarah Palin is brought in to run against Barack Obama. I know, you are thinking that she is running for the Vice Presidency and McCain is running against Obama. Well, no that is not the case. The media has been focused solely on her and comparing her record against his. Regardless of how far Barack has come in America, he knows that he cannot attack the White woman. Do we remember what happen in New Hampshire when Hillary cried?

So for all y'all, thinking she seems so nice and so sweet, try to figure out what happened to the Eskimos in Alaska. Every elected official, police officer that I have seen on the news is White. What happened to the damn Eskimos?
